I bought one a while ago that was about €50 cheaper online than it was in my closest store (Coolock). I told the sales guy the online price. He rang up somebody and gave it for that price without any hassle.
I might have tried to get it cheaper again but I didn't think of it at the time as the online price was pretty good.

It's a series 5 samsung which are full 1080p HD.

Picked up a similar model in powercity at Christmas for 999.
    Great tv, no major problems.

Just make sure your car is big enough to bring it home.
    It's a big telly!

Much like Harvy Norman you can bargain with them over the price, depends on sales person what you get offered. I would say getting the Online price should be no problem.

You never pay the in store price in power city! That is one of the great things about them.

I went in looking for a fridge to turn in to a kegerator and had my phone with me to compare the prices to their online store.
I found a fridge that would work, it was cheaper online so once I settled on it I grabbed a sales person and asked for her best price. The price she gave me was a little cheaper than online so I said grand :D

With the exception of the smaller items (plugs etc), you will always get a deal from a sales person.

Yep, u can always haggle.. Power city is one of the better places to haggle in. They've been known for it for years.. U can haggle in most stores.. There was a great thread on hear ages ago about it...

I got €400 off a TV in Currys a few years back, went in near the end of business n asked for the manager.. Showed him the cash n he said ok.. U've nothing to loose by trying it out
