What do you like? Are you looking for any genre or sound in particular?

If it is a good rock album then you will do no wrong in picking up Shinedown's "The Sound Of Madness"

Plus this month will see new albums out by Megadeth, Pearl Jam, Porcupine Tree, and Alice In Chains.

Dream Theater are progressive metal. The instruments are technical, and the songs can be quite long. Their singer is very high and they have a wide spectrum of songs, some straightforward metal, some more progressive melodic metal like queensryche and some balladey type songs.

If you were to listen to them i'd recommend Images & Words or Train of Thought but if you don't like long songs they're not for you.

Megadeth are, without doubt, kings of metal! They've no "bad" albums, but start with "Peace Sells" or the compilation album.

Cena, what type of singer do you like?

I often find that when someone is looking for something new that finding out what style of vocalist they like can help in pointing them towards new albums.

What kind of stuff do you listen to at the moment? If you're new to metal there's a huge amount of bands to get into.
