I need a new perfume for day-wear. I wear Coco Chanel Mademoiselle on nights out so I'm looking for something fresh, fruity etc for daywear any suggestions?

Escada Ocean Lounge is very fresh.

I do love Tom Ford's Black Orchid for something heavier though.

    I LIVE in Cerruti 1881 :)

    OMG, SO DO I!!!

People always ask me what perfume I wear and I've never met another person who's even heard of it! It's the only perfume I've ever worn and I'd never swap to anything else, I just don't feel like myself without it!

OP, back on topic, if you are looking for something fruity and fresh, I suggest Cherry Blossom Fruity by Guerlain, Truly Pink by Vera Wang or Lacoste, Touch of Pink. Britney Spears' perfume is also quite popular, very sweet if you are into that kinda scent! :)

How about a classic - maybe Elizabeth Arden's "Sunflowers". It still smells great.

God I used to ger Givenchy Very Irresisitible every time without fail for years. It's gorgeous, must buy a bottle again.

Jo Malone is the only way to go! I switch between her Red Roses and the Honeysuckle and Jasmine, and people are always complimenting me on them. She has so many different fragrances as well, so there's bound to be one to suit you. I don't think I'd ever go back to anything else!

I've been living in Calvin Klein's Euphoria lately. I love it.

I adore DKNY's Be Delicious (the original one) too. :)

I have a poor sense of smell so it's difficult for me to distinguish between perfumes but I'm using Hypnose by Lancome and I really like that.

All time favourite is Black XS by Paco Rabane but it's a heavier perfume...

Clinique Happy Heart. Absolutely gorgeous. Also second Ghost Deep Night. And the Sean Jean perfume Unforgiveable is really nice too.

I've never gotten this whole perfume for day and perfume for night distinction. If i like a fragrance I like a fragrance and will wear it at any time. I often have slightly cheaper perfumes that I'd use on a daily basis and more expensive ones for nights out but that's based on sparing the good ones, not on the scent that suits the time of day.

I love really heavy scents though like Dior Addict or Poison, so I wear pretty strong perfume a lot. But I don't think I'd ever decide on a scent due to time of day.

PS I went through about ten bottles of Cerruti 1881 when I was younger. have kind of out grown it now but every time i smell it it reminds me of my youth!! Great perfume.

I love Ralph by Ralph Lauren. It's nice and light, it's not too heavy or overpowering.

I love Jo Malone grapefruit but very pricey, I also love Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche- it's grapefruit as well, I love it! It's usually only out during the summer so as I'm running out must pick a bottle up next time I'm through the airport which is next weekend :-)

I'm intrigued with Jo Malone...always so curious when I pass the counter in BT. Just wondering, do you mix the scents or do you wear them on their own?? Thanks :)

BTW I wear Coco Madamoiselle during the day and then Allure Sensuelle at night - love those two scents - true classics. Also wear Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb when I'm looking for a break but I always return to the two classics!

I went on the hunt for a new perfume yesterday (previous favourites to date being Very Irresistable Givenchy, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, and Vera Wang Rock Princess.)

I came home with JLO Live and Oh My God I love it. I HATE celebrity endorsements and I usually make a point of not even considering celebrity endorsed perfumes - and I don't even like JLO - but this is unreal gorgeous. :D:D:D I love it!!!

I love D&G- Light blue for daytime and it doesn't fade to quickly.

Think DKNY is a bit strong for day wear though.

My fave for day would be Hugo boss femme...just ran out of my bottle this week!
