Wow, today has been crazy in the rassling world. Huge loss for Tna as she was one of my favs from the company.

ISA ISSUES LEAD TO SHOCKING TNA RELEASE

In a move that will probably take most fans of the company by surprise, former TNA Knockouts champion Angelina Love of the Beautiful People was released late yesterday by the company.

According to numerous sources within the company, there was some sort of issue with Love's work visa (she's Canadian) expiring and not being renewed as needed.

Love, who worked for TNA as recently as the Impact tapings this past Monday and Tuesday, had been working on a work visa originally granted to her from when she was under a WWE developmental deal. The existing visa has either expired or will expire shortly.

One TNA source referred to it as the company's "hands being tied" since they can't legally use Love if she doesn't have her paperwork in order. There was a lot of unhappiness within the company regarding the entire situation going down, although it seemed to be more disappointment as opposed to heat on Love.

My guess is that TNA would bring her back if and when she can get her paperwork in order, although the release would conceivably leave her available to sign with WWE and work there (pending a new work visa).

Love and Velvet Sky, as the Beautiful People, had been the top heel act for the TNA Knockouts division and were scheduled to be involved in an important bout on the No Surrender PPV on 9/22.

There's no word yet as to how Love will be written out of TNA storylines at this time.

They've already taped three weeks of TV, it does give them a decent amount of time to sort things out.

NO WAY this cannot be happening. Beautiful People is one of the most important asset to TNA whats going to happen to Velvet sky? this is bad. Angelina Love is probably the best knockout in TNA alongside Awesome Kong. Im going to miss her

I reckon she'll get it sorted and they'll take her back on. They just have to legally let her go if she doesn't have a valid work visa.

At least Velvet Sky is still there. I would expect to see Angelina back sooner rather than later though. She was the better heel IMO

The following was issued to PWInsider.com today in regard to rumors that have been running rampant regarding former TNA star Angel "Angelina Love" Williams, none of which have been reported on this website:

Both myself and my client have been bombarded with “News” stories and rumors concerning her situation from friends and fans alike, all or partially linked to your content. With respect to that I would like to take this time to clarify our present situation and I trust you will send this message along to your subscribers/readers.

As per usual, stories found on the internet have been grossly over stated and misinformed. Effective Thursday September 3, Angel Williams performing as Angelina Love in TNA had parted ways with the company. This separation was based purely on a miscommunication of Angel Williams' present Visa Status. This in no way has anything to do with Contract Disputes or trouble with the office as has been reported. I want to stress the fact that once this Visa issue is cleaned up Angel is welcomed back to TNA Wrestling with open arms.

At this time I cannot and will not address any of the other rumors that are circulating with regards to the type of Visa issues, concerns of gaining employment with the competition nor will I address any other rumors. I will say that most of what is on the internet is inaccurate and that the fans should rest assured that Angel Williams the performer will be returning to the ring in no time at all.

We greatly appreciate all the fan support and look forward to having this issue resolved shortly.

I hope she gets back into wrestling sooner rather than later. IMO she is one of the better female wrestlers today. I doubt TNA will take her back though, apparently Dixie is pissed cos she didn't renew her visa. Get her to WWE and form a stable with Michelle McCool and Dolph Ziggler.

Big Loss to TNA. I am confident for many years to come TNA keep producing the best female wrestler in pro wrestling industry. Now Awesome Kong, ODB, Velvet Sky, Sarita and many other knockouts willl keep performing at their top level
