    Hi
Does anyone know what happens if you haven't got word if you are getting the grant and you pay the registration fee but then you are told you aren't eligible for the grant? Does the college give you the fee back?
Also, has anyone applied to Louth or Monaghan Co Co and heard anything back yet? I applied nearly 3 weeks ago and no word, is this the norm?
    Thanks all :)

Hey I'm a little confused..I too have applied to louth coco. Heard nothing either. Ok so do you think you'll get the grant. ave you paid reg fee's already. If your grant comes through your fee's are paid. If not you are to pay them..Do you mind if I ask which college you are attending as it differs

From my experience in first year, you have to pay the registration fee until proof of your grant arrives whereon you'll be refunded.

From second year onwards, the college take it you are a grant holder for the rest of your stay and you only pay the lesser amount.

In my experience you're looking at November before you get any cash from the Louth CoCo. Some colleges will let you off with paying the registration fee if you're getting a grant in the future, others will insist you pay it and it will be refunded, think mine wasn't refunded until the January.
