    hi all
Looking at a few micro systems at the moment.
I have decide after some research that hifi seperates are not what i want at the moment. So looking at a few micro systems

The system that i'm looking for opinions on is the TEAC referance 380. This seams to tick all the boxes in what im looking for in a micro
    Cd/usb/ipod player,dab/fm/am/internet radio and a good amp.

My concerns at the moment are the price (this system seams to be roughly 200lids more than its revials) having only been released 6/8months will it drop at xmas?. Its only extra over other systems is its internet radio, is that worth the extra money?
secondly TEAC are a brand I only heard of recently, I have been told they are around a while but what is there track record in hifi systems?

If any body could help me with these questions or ownes one of these systems and has some pros and cons they would be willing to share that would be great.
I'm aware of the other systems available like the denon, onkyo, cambridge audio, yamaha and am slowly reading reviews on each If some one knows a micro system worth looking at let me know all opinions will be excepted.
I've put in a few links to reviews good and bad i've read on the TEAC.

    Cheers

I nearly bought this today in peats...! They played a beatles track for me, with Bose diamond speaks (A5..or something like that (sorry know nothing about sound!)) and it sounded alright- but not amazingly powerful.

I was looking for a small but good system to replace a Sony I bought many many years ago!! Its the small speakers that attracted me to be honest! But not sure if sound problem was from speakers (they are tiny) or amp!

    Sur

Only about 53 years or so....

Used to have a good record but can't speak for them now. I didn't know that they were still around tbh.

give the lads in cloney audio in blackrock a bell, the great advantage is that in few years when you want a separates system they will take it as a trade in..

    also sounds much much better
