Freaking out over possible fees next year - question!

    Howeyis,

I've been approved for the BTEA which I'm delighted about (made redundant). Have to register for a four year course next week.

    But I'm having a freaker.

I rang the BTEA today and they told me if fees are brought back in next year people who are on BTEA will have to cover them if they are not entitled to a grand as well.

I should be entitled to a grant next year (not living in area long enough this year) BUT there is also talk of not giving people both next year isn't there?! So if yer getting BTEA you're not gonna get a grant and vice versa.

I know neither decision is set in stone.... but both are looking quite likely. And of course both decisions will be made in a few months.. not giving people starting this year the information they need to make the best move for their future.

Has anyone any advice or in a similar situation?
I wanna get a part time job once I start (if I can find one) but I don't know if I'd be able to come up with fees on top of everything else.

    Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhh.

Thanks but moved in Jan so not in either place long enough (you need to be living in an area since Oct 08).

It's next year I'm really worried about not this year. Flipping fees fees fees... Don't wanna put in a years work if I'm not gonna be able to finish it.
