hey guys,

speakers aren't the best on my corrolla so got new ones in aldi the last day, thing is i have to take off the panels on both sides of the car first in order to change the speakers.

in order to get the window winder off i have to get a horseshoe like spring off and i need to get a certain tool for this, does anybody know were i can pick up one of these cheap off the net at all?

tried with a screwdriver but no joy,

any info from someone that has done this would be appreciated

A small flat screwdriver will get the clip out. you just need to pull the handle out bit and work the spring clip out.

Alternatively, you could do what I do:
Point the winder downwards, roll up some cloth and put it behind the winder, pull the cloth from left to right repeatedly while pulling both ends upwards - this will pop off the clip.
