About to pull the trigger on this:

    Dell Studio 1555

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor P7350 (2.0 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 Cache)
    Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium SP1 (64 BIT) - English - Windows 7 Upgrade
15.6in Widescreen High Definition (1366x768) WLED with TrueLife
    4096MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x2048]
    500GB (5.400rpm) SATA Hard Drive
512MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 4570
Fixed Internal DVD+/-RW Slot Load Drive including Software
Primary 6-cell 56 WHr Lithium Ion battery
    Intel WiFi Link 5100 (802.11 a/b/g/n 1X2) 1/2 MiniCard
Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Module - European
2.0 Mega pixel Integrated Web Camera

It's coming in at 714euro, just over budget at around 700euro.

Will it be good for some gaming at medium settings, stuff like Call of Duty 4, maybe that new Batman game, Arkham Asylum?

I will probably also be running stuff like ArchiCAD etc., would it be good for that?

Are there any alternatives will similar or better spec for that price?

Any extras I should add/stuff I don't need for the above?

It's not urgent (although I'm getting 400euro off on this system and the offer ends Sept 9!), is there anything coming up I should hold out and wait for?

    Thanks for any advice!
