Odds are you did pay. Their system is ****e, I have about 1.5k worth of fines to prove it. Apart from the photos of the wrong car sent out, the fact that my car wasn't even running(have garage to back me up) and the wealth of documentation showing payments made on dates and warning letters sent out for those dates they still tell me I have to pay the fines.

Last letter I sent them was a polite **** you.

I certainly wouldnt pay it, thats an extortionate amount of money. Id let them bring me to court. Pay what you were supposed to have paid originally and then see what they say to the judge. You will have paid the toll at least then.

Ive a friend who works for e-toll and he said that they have only prosecuted 5 people for not paying it and they were all serial offenders including one taxi operator who had 20 cars passing through it.

Go on to their website, type in your reg and pay for whatever amount of passes. Then send them a letter with the receipt to say you've paid for the toll and you're not paying the additional fines because they're extortionate!

    you serious?? interesting.

The thing is i thought i payed the first 12 euro (2 X 6 euros) one they sent out to me and i cant find the 50 quid one i hear u get if you dont pay in 12 days.

Its so much money for something so small.

I might try the setting up the account thing though. Actually will do it now!! The reason I think this wont work for me though is these letters were from solicitors so maybe out of the hands of etoll or whatever the **** are called..??

Their system is flawed, you can type in any reg and pay a fine even if the car hasn't gone through or even if it's a fake reg...

In this respect they say you owe them for 2 passes? So just go and pay for 2 passes, print the receipt and tell them to f*ck off!

right Steve you seem to be well up on this.

Ive paid the 2 journeys and have a pdf of the receipt. Will i just send a letter/email to them telling them i have paid the original bill and to **** off.

Ive also set up an account cas i dont want to get into this **** again!

Just send them a letter telling them you've paid the original toll and you've set up an account. They'll forget about you...

you would have received a €6 bill with 14 days to pay, a €48 euro bill with 21 days to pay AND a another bill about about €100 with 21 days to pay, prior to receiving the €152 one, and the first three would have been sent to the same address as the final one.

    Did you ignore them?

Sorry to dig up an old thread but has anyone had any dealings with them lately?

I just got 3 lovely letters stating i owe 150 a pop (450 total) for when i used back in November yet never recieved any letters stating i owed the 12E etc. Turns out there was the wrong post code on the address they sent the initial letters to. I had used it twice a day for over a week and thought I payed them all, (even tho for some reason I have one on a day on its own which is strange).

Any ideas how i can fight it? No bother paying 12E each but this is taking the urine at this stage.
