The title of the thread gives a good bit of info but basically what I am on here for is for a little advice.

I came back from a 5 week long trip to the USA during which I did a lot of walking but also a lot of eating. I went out there with my weight being almost 13 stone and me as a regular gym goer doing a balance of cardio and muscle toning twice a week.

Now I am back but haven't been able to hit the gym till recently over an ankle ligament injury I am only just recovering from.

I am 12.5 stone in weight, a height of about 5 foot 7 inches and a 32 inch waist. I've always been fairly blocky but I have a feeling that I am a little bit overweight, not by much but a tad that I can sort out.

I don't drink or smoke but I do like my chocolate, I think I may have to give it up for a while and do a lot of cardio in the gym.

I should, I think, be about 11.5 stone but achieving this is something I don't know how.

Should I just hit the cardio in the gym and cut out the chocolate and then in time I will see the results???

Just so people know by the way, I have a bit of a belly after I eat, although when I haven't eaten in a while you wouldn't notice it at all. Also my man-boobs are in place but they're not soft like I would imagine fat would be, I think it's more muscle there than anything.

Any advice for me in my quest to reduce the weight after having to sit on me hole for so long with my ankle ligament injury?

Thanks (I appreciate ye get these questions all of the time and I did read through other threads first)

List your typical food intake for a day.

    e.g
    8am: porridge & tea
    10am: Mars bar

    etc..

Man weight is irrelevant to waist size.

to a point yes, but at 5 6" the guy is pretty short (no offence!) so he has to be carrying the weight somewhere

Sorry guys, measured my height properly afterwards (I'm still small hahaha!) but I'm actually 5 foot 7.5 inches and 12.5 stone.

    Typical food intake:

Mornings - bowl of cereal (cheerios or something), slice of brown health bread and cup of tea/coffee.

Lunch - normally some sort of sandwich, bit of fruit...

Dinner - I generally eat a big dinner with potatoes, a meat, lots of veg

Night time - I'd reach for the biscuits semi-often at about 10pm and a fairly big bar of chocolate but that's only once a week.
