Wondering if there are any good pedal shops around the city center that would stock pedals like Catalinbread or MI Audio stuff?

If you find one, tell me. I've never seen a shop that was that exotic with their pedals.

I think the internet is your best bet, unfortunately...

X Music have a good stock of stuff and the lads are really good with their stuff. Muzzle Music in Chapelizoid have now started doing Z.Vex pedals if thats what your bag is.

Pedals.ie has a great stock of stuff but it online.

Hope you find what your looking for.

Last time I was in X Music I was looking for a power supply for my pedal board. I asked how many Amps the T-Rex Fuel Tank could supply, the guy told me "Nine volts".

    Lol, 9V oh yeah :)

mmmmm, another thing you can check out is:

gearmanndude or geardudemann on youtube, it is in fact Jack Black but he makes old school pedals. I do some work with a guy who has one and its pretty sweet, he also reviews aload of diffrent pedals against each other.

    Sweet !

    edit: check it, http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=gear+dudemann

The sound quality in his videos is kind of awful. It's recorded at a distance and nothing has any low end to it.

    try ringing them.
It's often the case that shops get stuff in but websites are not 100% up to date.they are not to far from newlands cross.

    I also highly reccomend http://www.tunnelvisionmusic.com/
They are an American company, shipping isn't too costly and their pedals make great gifts

AFAIK last year MI Audio said they had appointed an Irish seller/distributor. I'd say if you can find out who that is (if it went ahead), I'd say that kind of shop will have other boutique pedals too.
