Hi Ladies!! (if im in the wrong forum sorry and feel free to move the post)

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Charlie Brooks (janine from eastenders) workout dvd?? I found reviews online but they all seemed a bit too good to be true or else really bad! I tried it last night and found it quite good but im just wondering if anyone had good results from following the dvd!She looked amazing after 12 weeks and I know it was a combination of exercise and healthy eating but has it worked for anyone????

I did an aerobics class before but my shifts in work keep changing by the week so cant really sign up for one because I will prob miss it every few weeks which kinda sucks! And I have a cross trainer at home but im getting bored on it so I want a change to the routine! So im thinking at least if I use this I can do it anytime! Well I did the workout last night and the thighs are feeling it a bit today :P There is a section in it and you do Sumo Squats where you jump forward into a squat and then back a few times and I think that is the cause of the stiffness today!!!

At the minute I'm doing Ministry of Sounds Pump it up workouts.
They are just as good as classes, in fact they are probably better for me.
I wouldnt have been able to follow it if I hadnt done aerobics in the past though.

    That was a bit of a non-point :P
But sur of course they work if you actually put it on and do the exercises.
Its a dvd of an instructor which is the same as being at an aerobics class. ( Just has a celeb doing the actions with the instructor)

With that DVD and a healthy diet I managed to loose a stone.

I've put half of it back on but that's because I'm not as strict on the diet and exercise part now.

    Thanks.

I can't truly remember. It was about 2yrs ago now. About 4-5 months I'd say. I wasn't too strict on myself :D

I go running now to keep in shape. I don't have the room to do the DVD anymore.

Ya actually you do need a bit of space to do the dvd, especially for the section when you kinda dance forwards, well done anyway though hopefully it will work for me too!:p

Sounds good . I bought similar dvd by davina which is good, easy section for nubeees incorporated into the session and really is "user friendly" till you get into the swing of things . Even if you dont loose a lot of weight the dvd`s are good in my opinion cos they help to keep yer body ....eh, pliable if you know what Im trying to say :o...cant think of the word :).

That would be so many types of awesome.

You'd have the Nathan Barley: A riding a mini-scooter on a treadmill. The Zombie Davina lunge and chop. Smashing in a skull with a fire extinguisher. Punching Jeremy Kyle. It would be such a hit.:D

I found it was quite hard to follow. The directions aren't that clear and the lady goes really fast.

And you definitly need room and i wouldn't recommend it on carpet.

I have this dvd and found it great, it was great for the winter time when I wasn't out walking as much and didn't feel motivated to go out to the gym. It was recommended by my friend who loved it as well, and she said she lost a good bit of weight & toned up using it...although she looked fab beforehand anyway!! But would definitely recommend it, although like others were saying you need a bit of room for it. I've moved since and don't have the room for it unfortunately, you do need a little space for it.
