I have a Sky+ box and a plasma HD ready TV. I took a look at the HD box in a local shop but I could not see any difference between the normal signal on one TV and the HD output on another TV. Is it just me or is HD really that much better? Don't want to spand another €15 a month if the quality is not noticable.

Trust me, with a decent TV HD is outstanding.

Are you sure the programme/channel they were showing was in HD?

It wrecks my head when you go past them Sky HD kiosks in shopping centres when they have RTÉ 1 or some other non-HD channel on display. It makes no sence and it always seems to be the way.
