Driver club face gone a bit concave

I am fairly new to the game, but was out over the weekend and I noticed that the middle of my driver club face seems to have gone a smidge concave. I have only had it for about a year and a half (bought it from McGuirks and paid about 130 or so for it - so I guess its not a premium driver or whatever). I am wondering if this is just a usual sign of wear and tear or should I have a moan at them?

Also is the club only fit for the bin now (my driving is fairly random at the best of times, so not too sure if its me or the club itself)? Would be nice to blame the club of course ;)

Are you sure it's concave or maybe just scuffed and it looks concave.

If it's concave then you should replace it. It would do no harm showing it to the shop but they will probably not do anything.

Well - its not exactly concave, but the outward curve of the face is definitely distorted in the middle. Might bring it back and have a moan at them, seems a bit odd to me - if I was driving the ball 400 yards or whatever I could understand it, but that's not happening!

After a year and without a receipt I wouldn't hold much hope.

No, doubt I will get much satisfaction.

Is it a common problem with cheaper clubs? As I said I am not great at the game, and would feel like a bit of a poser with an expensive driver in the bag, but if the cheap ones get worn out this quickly then maybe its worth considering as an investment?

Not really, you'll pick up a Taylormabe Burner/Tour Burner for e129 at the moment.

TM seem to be clearing a backlog of stock. Top class driver for not alot of money really.

Ah ok - will try to find one of them, am a leftie however and whenever I have seen any good offers on golf clubs they never have them for left handed players. Thanks for the tip though.
