Protein isn't a food group. They're dairy foods with protein in them.

Most foods contain protein, even fruits and vegetables. The best sources are:

    Eggs
    All meat
    All poultry
    All fish and shellfish
    All dairy
    Soy products

    To a lesser extent:

    Nuts and seeds
    Pulses (beans, peas etc.)
Grains (barley, brown rice, buckwheat, millet, oatmeal, quinoa, rye, wheatgerm, wheat, wild rice)
