Dodgy haircut!

Hey girls.... what do ye do when the hairdresser gives ya a dodgy haircut? Do ya cry and demand a refund?
Say nothing and buy a hat on the way home?
Go back and ask what they can do to fix it.... especially if they have cut it so short that cutting it anymore would leave ya bald...?
Just work with what you have and let it grow?

I have terrible luck with hairdressers. I finally found a brilliant one and have being going to her since last year, each time delighted with the new funky haircut. Got it cut again last week and I hate it. Its mad short, and really wispy so feels really thin and bitty. The fringe is the worst bit.... its like dracula except short and fluffy! No amout of wax seems to be sorting it. Gonna try the straighteners tonight and see if I can funk it a bit.

Suggestions please.... what to do with my dodgy do! :)

I had a hairdresser I loved...but she moved :( So I went to another girl in the salon and explained exactly how I wanted it; but she still cut it way to short at the back...and yes..I cried..:o

But I got it for free, and she didn't charge me for my colour either (which I was happy with). I didn't ask for a refund, but I think when she saw how upset I was she couldn't really charge me, especially when I'd told her how nervous I was about someone else cutting my hair as it's been messed up before.

She also offered me a free cut in a few weeks when it grows to fix it. But I'm going to do my best to find my old hairdresser in the meantime!

Definitely call in to her and ask her what she can do to fix it for you. She shouldn't charge you for that.

Are you Aisling from Xpose:D Sorry! The title of your thread reminded me of Xpose last night. Aisling has cut her hair really short and it's a bit dodgy, she's gorgeous but I much prefered her with longer hair.

Katie I'd be inclined to not go back to the hairdresser because all they will do is cut more. If it's really short it will grow a lot in a few weeks. Thickening products might help a bit.

G86.... you poor thing, crying in the hairdressers is never a good moment! Its happened to me twice before!

Sunny, thats a good idea about thickening products, Ill definately try that!!

Cheers :) Still have to decide whether to see her again or not. If I do go back to her, I'm not letting her cut a millimetre until she explains exactly what she wants to chop. Reckon Ive given her a bit too much free rein with my locks!
