    Hi,
I need a small LCD tv please? It's for an average sized bedroom, want to mount it on the wall so would think a 23' would do.
I'm thinking LCD, Full HD, 16:9...all the usuals.

Saw this LG model which seemed to tick all the boxes but not sure how LG's fair against other brands like Sony...

Can i ask why exactly you want "full hd" on a 23" screen? You barely see the advantage of normal HD at that size so if i were you i would just get a HD ready set for a bit less than that or a bigger 32" HD ready set for not a lot more. You could get yourself a decent 32" hd ready set for about €100 more than that LG.

At this stage, i think 32" is the smallest size anyone should be getting. They've gotten so cheap so you may as well get yourself a decent sized set, unless you're really restricted to a small size

    Thanks Zonda!
You've quickly uncovered the fact that i don't know all that much about this. I thought Full HD would be best but as you said if it's such a small screen this could be insignificant.
We have a 42inch plasma in the main room and just thought a smaller one would suit and would hopefully be cheaper. Also thought LCD would be the better option for our second choice tv.
Thanks for your advice, best keep looking

Fair enough looking for a smaller sized set but they really are just plain bad value at this stage. Had you set out a budget for yourself?

That 23" is nearly €300 but for €400, you'd get yourself a nice 32" hd ready set(From a better brand than LG, i might add, Philips, Samsung or whatever). A 32" set would actually be about twice as big as a 23", in terms of viewing size.

Oh and by the way, that one you've linked to at Komplett is a monitor so it may not even be wall-mountable
