Itv are to introduce ITV1+1 from Oct 1st. With 6 regional variants. Not available in Scotland or Ulster.

God knows where the satellite space is coming from?

Handy for them that don't have a PVR but that's a heck of a lot of space to be taking up. No wonder C4 HD is struggling to get a slot.

Might be dropping some of their sub regions on satellite. Probably more money in selling advertising space on a timeshift channel.

I see they will be blocking GMTV, wonder will do they do the same for the football?

For those using a Sky box for Freesat, this will be channel 117 on the EPG I think, just before ITV2.

I thought most people on this forum weren't bothered about ITV!:D

I thought 117 on Sky's EPG was used for Channel 4 in Wales and couldn't be used in the rest of the UK/Ireland?

On Sat4Free boxes I would imagine it would go on 112 before ITV 2 on 113. Still space on 120 for ITV HD too... ;)

More rubbish to clutter up EPG's

I could never see the point in "+1" channels but "+24" channels might be a good idea for when someone tells you about a good programme* on yesterday that you missed

    * Although this hasnt happened on ITV since about 1992
