Alloy query

There's a special nut on each alloy that requires a certain key to take the alloy off the car. But I changed my tyres about a year ago and got back the wrong key. Only noticed it recently. Anyone know where I could get a replacement as I doubt your man that gave me the wrong key still has it? Or anyone have a similar predicament?

I had a similar problem recently. Ended up buying a new one on ebay

You will need to get onto the manufacturer of the locking wheel nut.

If they are OEM locking nuts by the car maker then you should be able to get one via a dealer. They will probably be able to do this via the car's chassis number.

If the locking nut is aftermarket then you may have more difficult time getting a replacement. You may have to go down the road of getting the locking nuts removed by force.

Thanks for the advice lads. I bought the car second (or third) hand but I'm pretty sure the manufacturers would have put this nut on. Will try that option before I go trying to force it off. They are a real pain in the hole.... don't think I have the 4 original nuts for the alloys either.
