    Thanks Welease.

Do you know if they have thick strips of velcro?

Yeah.. they all come in normal (white) or heavy duty (black).. Dimensions of heavy duty strips are 50mm x 100mm x 2 strips in a pack

Here is a link to the product at Halfords (B&Q stock the same Velcro brand)
    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?srch=velcro&action=search&storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&langId=-1

They are quiet expensive though.. offhand i think they are about 5-6 quid in B&Q for about 20cm in length... You should probably only need the normal (white) stuff.

Edit - I cut them down the middle to double the effective length.. So you will get 40cm total from a pack

The black stuff is really strong. It can be difficult to pry them off the board. It's a pain if you don't necessarily have a definite setup and you're still playing around with your signal chain.

Just for info, that Blarney Woolen Mills (?) place at the north side of the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin sells strong velco in strips by length...

My Local B&Q sell it by the lenght as well in black €2.22 per metre. I was only in there yesterday!
I'm in the middle of redoing my own board and they have al sorts of handy stuff, lenghts of aluminum strips for the edge of the board(to give the pro built look:cool:)
