I'm off to Zakynthos on Friday and I heard that the diving is supposed to be good over there. Has anyone been over that neck of the woods? Any good dive sites or centres?

I dived there a good few years ago and it wasn't up to much (Mainly sandy beds) but we did one good cave dive. I dived from a dive centre in Laganos which was situated at the end of a hotel complex run by Germans. I will check my logbook for the name when I go home at lunch and get the name for you.

Back from my excursion! For anyone heading to the island of Zante (Argassi area in particular). The diving isn't great due to locals fishing with dynamite and Italians spear fishing the local fishies to a worrying level!

Looks like you've to head to the main land to dive on submerged ruins etc :(

    Who did you dive with?

St Nicholas Dive Centre. The lads there were sounds as a pound. Too bad about lack of wildlife.:(
