What do you mean omitted? Why are any articles taken away from public view? You have to be mistaken surely? Can anybody clarify this as it is important. I'm intrigued.

Since when is there more than 50 articles in Bunreacht na hÉireann?

    some info:
    Transitory Provisions

The Transitory Provisions were Articles 51 to 63. Article 51 dealt with the transitional amendment of the Constitution; the others with the transition and reconstitution of the executive and legislature, the continuance of the civil service, the entry upon office of the first President, the temporary continuance of the courts, the continuance of the Attorney General, Comptroller and Auditor General, and of the Defence Forces and the police. Article 51 ceased to have any legal effect on the third anniversary of the inauguration of the first President (Douglas Hyde in 1938) and, under its own terms, has been omitted from all official texts since 1941. Article 52 required Articles 52-63 to be omitted from official texts from 1938, but technically they continue to have the force of law; not printing them created an curiosity when Article 56 was changed by the second amendment.

It says it in the Constitution of Ireland here http://www.taoiseach.gov.ie/attached_files/html%20files/Constitution%20of%20Ireland%20%28Eng%29.htm
The Transitory Provisions (Articles 51-63) are omitted as required by their terms; the Irish text has been altered so as to make it conform to modern standardized Irish
