Never played either, and didn't really fancy playing the 3rd until I'd played the previous 2.

Will definitely be playing this. Haven't met anyone online or in person who doesn't think these games are the benchmarks that all brawlers should aim to be like.

Only played the 1st one myself, so this is a must buy for me.

I'm really quite surprised at the amount of you that haven't played the original games, i thought they were at the top of most playstation owners top ten not only did they look fantastic but the gameplay was stellar never a dull moment a definate must have for me even though i own both im psyched about the trophies,roll on christmas!!!!!!!!

I only "briefly" played the first one and jeebus it was good.
So looking forward to this, one game i will be importing if it doesn't come out over here.
Now bring out the metal gear solids so i can play them all!

Out Nov the 10th (same day as MW2) in the US. I picked up mine from VG+ for 36.67 (31.92 euro plus 4.75 postage).

You also get the GOW3 demo as seen in the E3 show. I think its a playable demo but im not 100% sure.

Finished the first one, and started the second, will definitely pick this up! Also, kudos to Sony for bumping this up to 720p and bringing Trophy support. Microsoft never bothered to do this with the 'Xbox Originals' line!

I read (Kotaku I think) that this disc will come with a code for the GOW demo to give people who buy it early access.

Think I'll be getting this for a few reasons.

First of all, my PS2 was chipped and the copy of GOWI I got was pirated, I feel I owe Sony by buying this.

Second, I only bought GOWII recently(10er preowned in Xtravision) and it just looks horrific on my 32" Bravia - blurred, washed out, horrible. Not designed for LCD widescreens at all.

So with the jump to 720p, along with the medals, this is a must have for me.

And of course the playable demo of GOWIII will be nice.

Think I'll get it from Axelmusic. Free delivery, and dispatched in the EU so you won't be hit with nasty customs charges(if you get unlucky)
