I'm pretty sure the head gasket is on its way out. There appears to be water getting into the oil and oil getting into the water coolant. I'm getting to the stage where I need fill up the water tank more often than the petrol tank.

Journies longer than 20 minutes result in fumes coming from under the bonnet.

How much is this car worth to a mechanic/scrap yard?

    Hiw much is it worth?
sorry but to the autobreaker, it would be worth zero.
most auto breakers will not pay you for scrapping a car, most will accept it of you free of charge, as long as you deliver it, but check out your local auto breaker and have a chat with him..

    +1

Be honest with the description and someone will probably make you an offer. Won't be much but it'll be out of your hair

Someone on adverts will buy it and break it down themselves might even get the few quid in the pocket for yourself!
