    Hey there,

Why was I cut off? I am sure that plenty of people suffer with the condition and can offer advice.

I have been seeing an ostepath and it has been really helping. I went to a GP and he told me that it would get worse and I will eventually go nuts.

So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers J.

You weren't cut off - the thread was locked, as I thought you were looking for medical advice, which is a no-no on pretty much every forum on this site.

Discussions on the topic of tinnitus are welcome, and people are free to share their own experiences ... but asking for treatment / medical advice, even for alternative or complementary medicines, is considered a breach of the charter.

You'll find the charter here ... every forum on Boards will have one, and it's a good idea to have a read through before posting.

Best of luck with the tinnitus ... it must be tough.

btw ... if my GP told me I would eventually go nuts, I'd find a new GP.

I have it for nearly a year now, in my right ear after I got an ear infection. Still have it though, but it is not a loud as it used to be. Can only hear it when I go to sleep.
