    Hi all,
I have an 20 month old Iqon laptop that has just decided to die on me .

I suspect it's the graphics chip as it's booting ok but the screen is illegible and distorted . It started the other day when the screen would blink and pixelate . Now , when it boots , all I get on screen are some weird lines / colours . Plugging it into a seperate monitor has no effect.

Looking at some of the threads , it appears Iqon are no more . Are they officially closed down ?

Is there any hope of getting my laptop fixed ?

    Thanks.

They were last time I checked, unless they've come back. You could bring it back to the retailer as they would be responsible.

    Hi ,

I've looked in the user manual and the warranty card , neither of them say how long the warranty is valid for. Is it 12 or 24 months ?

It was bought in Tesco in Wexford , in November 2007 .
Would any Tesco do ? If Iqon are indeed gone , how would Tesco sort it ?
