Was talking to one of the lads from Romania who is using his sky sub over here. He reckons he is only paying €10 a month for two packages, all in English with subs. Truth or myth??

You can get loads of Satellite channels in English for free, no subscription required!

He probably means he gets something like Digi TV

It covers the English premiership and other major European leagues plus has movie channels etc.

If the Satellite TV company found out your friend was using his sub in Ireland I expect they would cut him off as he would be breaking the terms and conditions of his subscription by using it here.

But not actually breaking any law as long as he pays the sub.

I dont think he is talking through his hat. He could well have the likes of MAX TV a romanian Pay Provider. Cards could well be around 10euro a month back in Romania.

Do these cards work in a normal sky box or would he have a Max Tv sub box

Sky boxes only work for sky, he will need either a genuine Max TV receiver or one with a CAM capable of decoding the channels, he'd need his dish pointed to a different sat too.
