Right so met a girl last night, we hit it off, have been texting today and all seems good. I evaded the questions of what I do for a living last night(with humour) cos I've been unemployed for the past few months and am finding it hard to find work at the moment.

Question is : should I ask her out and then tell her this fact when we meet up? I have a bad feeling it will turn things a bit sour!

    What do you think?

I wouldn't worry about being unemployed at the moment, unfortunately a lot of the country is in the same boat. Do ask her out tho, u'v got nothing to lose and you have absolutly nothing to be embarassed about. More than likely she'll know people in the exact same predicament as you and will be able to share a sympathetic ear.

Good luck, let us know how it goes :):)

Considering 12% of the country are unemployed nearly everyone knows someone who is out of a job. Go for it. If she judges you on the basis of not having a job that is a bit unfair.
