i realise that but only have about a grand to spend at the moment and if bought new car around that price would spend as much to get it fixed,theres only 66,000 miles on it and engine very clean

I'd say around 500 quid if you get the fan from a scrapyard and use an independent mechanic. Wheel cylinders and timing belts are cheap from a motor factors. It might be an idea to change the water pump while the timing belt is being done, a pump from Renault will be ~100 quid but from a factors, should be less than half that. You might also need brake shoes if the cylinder has leaked onto them.
