    Hi Guys I have a crashed Opel Astra 00 and was wondering the best way of getting rid of it it has frontal damage only busted rad but engine should be fine. do brakers yards buy direct off you if you just ring them up? New to this and hopefully wont have to write a post like this again ::(

    How much frontal damage though? Repairing or replacing multiple front panels (front, front-sides, bonnet, bumper...) can cost more than repairing or replacing the entire engine! :o If front-side panels are only lightly damaged then you might try to flog or repair, but if the damage is more severe then there's every chance you have compromised structural integrity and damaged the suspension and chassis. Add the cost of panel repair/replace and the rad/coolant system work and it might only be scrappable. If you have a mate in the industry get them to have a look-see.
