TREK 1.5 2010

Hi, I just ordered TREK 1.5 2010 from Joe Daily(right?) today. This is new to the shop just this week and I haven't got much information about it. However it seems to be coming with all tiagra level stuff and pretty competetive price than 1.5 2009 considering coming with tiagra group set. Price is 950 Euro.

How do you think about the price and spec? Thank you.

HI, Ive always ridden Treks and noticed that in order to keep the price point they've dropped the frame and grouppo spec down through the years, ie, the old 1500 models would have a better quality alu frame amd ultegra/105 parts.

However comparing specs it seems theyve upgraded parts for 2010! If you like Treks and are happy with the service/Lbs then go for it. Others on here might suggest alternatives for the price you are paying. Trek build quality bikes and no-one would go against that.

From looking at the specs, they have upgraded the components, but dropped the spec of the frame and fork from Alpha Black and Bontrager Race to Alpha White and Bontrager Approved.

What that actually means for the rider is beyond me tbh, but just something I noticed (am looking at them and others in that price range myself :)).
