Palma Nova resort is very nice, 2 very good beaches.
Inexpensive to eat out, basically the usual selection of restaurants that you'd expect to find in a Spanish tourist resort.

Nightlife is fairly non existant, a couple of bars which stay open late and might have a 40 or 50 people in them, mainly families and couples though. And one ridiculously popular Kareoke bar which is like a really bad Irish/English local on a Sunday night - a cringeingly awful cover band (Westlife or Elvis) who do a set and encourage everyone to dance, and then bring people up to sing. Urgggg, its Dantes Circles of Hell stuff.

On the other hand its only €5 in a taxi to Magaluf or €7 to Santa Ponsa which the nightlife is far more lively if its what you are into.

So staying in Palma Nova, enjoying its relative peace and quiet during the day, and getting a taxi down to the livelier resorts in the evening wouldn't be a bad plan.
