    It depends what you are putting one on?

    If it is for a Mini I vote SU

    I think Weber are easier to repair/ do something with!!

    E-Type 6 cylinders had S.U's, V12 had Strombergs.

    The D-Types were purely for racing.

    The Webers wouldnt have suited a car like the E-Type that would have been in city traffic alot.

    A pal has a V12 E-Type running on six twin choke Webers, sounds great and goes even better!

    then you have pierburgs, which have a horrible habit of getting blocked

    As said I think it depends on the application.Webers are probably better for high RPM competition work whilst SU's are probably smoother, but its not that simple.

    Cant beat the gurgling sound of multiple Webers thats for sure !
