    well I just about had it enough with Ireland its just gone down hill badly (im not gonna go on a rant im sure alot of yee understand)

    my work involves alot of programming and system administration (often long hours but sometimes get alot free time) so i can work anywhere in world provided theres electricity and internet and earn a very decent living (before taxes :mad:) 4-5 figures a month

    so maybe we can have a thread where people can recommend me where to move?

    somewhere:
    * has fast-ish internet
    * is warmer than here
    * close to watersports (my favorite recreational pastime)
    * has some culture and nightlife
    * preferably lower tax
    * has good flight services to ireland so i can comeback for business/family/friends

    im currently thinking of renting my way thru different places and see what its like, language is not a problem i already fluent a major european language and wouldnt mind learning another one like spanish

    ive been already several times to continent, canaries, balearics and benelux and tbh liked them all :) and wouldn't mind returning to see more

    so the question: where would you go if you were in my position?

    Barcelona. Beach in the city, amazing nightlife, and culture coming out it's ears.
