Hi Janbaby... I went on hols around the 6/7 month mark and didn't want to waste too much money on a maternity suit... Pennys was great, though they didn't have maternity suits I just got a few sizes larger and mixed and matched and they also had those mankini thingys, like a vest top with briefs... also cheap as chips! Hope this helps.

I just realised I said mankini!!! That's the lime neon Borat thing, not a good look pregnant or not:D... I meant to say tankini!! At least that what I think they're called!

My wife tried to find some pregnancy swimsuits but didn't have much look in the shops, seen a few online though. She ended up getting a size or two bigger than what she normally wears and they done her just fine.

Went swimming yesterday and wore a regular bikini but with a lycra string vest over it in a larger size that I got in Dunnes. Was in Mothercare during the week looking for swimsuits but couldn't justify the cost of them for the last 6 weeks of the pregnancy. Anything up to 40 Euro.
