I think it's just a ploy to intimidate Marquez. Pretty intimidating when your opponent has clear access to guns and can probably have you killed without worrying about getting caught (How many gangland murders get solved?).

I dont think marques is going to be too worried about PBF turning up in the ring with a smith n wesson!

A boxer is caught up in a sensational story in the lead up to a big PPV offering which catches the attention of the non boxing media and raises awareness of the fight outside fighting circles. Whatever next!

Martinez would be a better fight for Mayweather. I think Mayweather would just destroy Pacman and it would't live up to expectations as a contest. Martinez would be a much bigger test of Mayweathers ability

I don't agree. He has not peaked IMO. I just think his recent opponents were bad stylistic matchups for him that highlighted his weaknesses.

We should get our answer to that in this fight. Bradley is aggressive and a little wild at times, on paper a good match for Pacquiao.

Agreed. It should tell us something. I see Pac KO'ing him in the late rounds

Wouldn't be surprised to see Pacquiao stop him. Bradley might be tempted to trust too much in his physical power at times and could pay the price for opening up.

On the other hand, and perhaps more likely, is that Bradley will box in the knowledge that this is his best hope of frustrating Manny. I'm not quite sure if Bradley's a good enough boxer to do this, but if he could it would present Pacquiao with a challenge which he could not afford to fail for the third time in succession. Pacquiao needs some fireworks this time.
