Has anyone ever used the YMCA gym in Sandymount ?

Any comments on it ?

Are the free weights any good ?

Is there an olympic bench there ?? An inclined/declined bench ??

Is it big / small / crowded ??

its small, very small, when i was there it wasnt that busy tho. There is no bench press at all, I asked the lady are they planning on getting one, the reply was 'whats a bench press?'...its cheap , thats all it has going for it!

Thats fairly basic that your wan did not know what a bench press was !!

Very hard to get a gym with a few olympic bench presses, I dont like them smith machines

It's open. I believe they have a bench press now. Not really sure since I generally only use the cardio equipment.
