The problem is usually at peak times, and can last until ~midnight. hellboy99, you did your tests at 2:17-2:20am Irish time.

It seems that a lot of us are suffering.

My connection is really bad, dial up speed. Only happened today. Normally fine on 7.6 in Ashbourne.
    Anyone else on this exchange?

    Update:
Unplugged then after restart changed from 192.xxx.xxx to 78.xxx.xxx and back to normal!!!!
    This old chestnut again.

I agree with peak times being a problem, the lowest I've seen my speeds drop to over the last few weeks during peak time is round 4.6MB/s, otherwise it's between 5.4 - 6.2MB/s and after midnight 6.2 - 6.7MB/s.

So for me, overall my speeds are very good for a 7.6MB connection :)
