    hi, not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but here goes. i dont have a tv, but someone told me you need to pay for a tv licence if you have a computer as it can be used for tv viewing, now im not a science nut, but can anyone tell if if this is true, if i have to pay if i have a computer? they keep coming around, they dont seem to believe we dont have a tv, and im not planning on letting them in either!

    The quick answer is no you do not need a TV Licence for a Computer monitor.

    Possibly if you have a TV tuner card.

    Or satellite/cable/DTT setbox feeding the monitor.

    Use search. Plenty of posts.
