Sky+ on 1 input?

    I thought a sky+ boxwould work with just 1 input connected (View but not record), but im getting no signal. Im just trying to narrow a problem down as i think the dish may be pointed to either hotbird or astra 1 instead.

    (A friend has moved house and has a sky+ box, there is a mini dish on the chimney) Just trying to narrow it down saving me getting ladders to check dish)

    Go to the signal test screen

    What is the Network id and transport stream if any??

    did you plug the cable into input 1 or 2?

    it will only work plugged into input 1.

    yeah it was connected to 1, i suspect the dish has been tuned into hotbird as the previous tenants were polish
