    ...going there this weekend, doing a run the following week so want to get out for maybe 10km, any nice track or park there that might be suitable for an hour or so?

    I dont really know a lot about ennis but there is a park in the centre of the town called the Fair Green, a lot of people run there. Also there is a 10k race ran around ennis every year- you could follow that route http://www.clare10k.com/phocadownload/10k_routemap.pdf

    Lees Road,
    It's a dedicated sports centre with track, pitches and also has a large woodland area around it and you can get in a 3-4k lap on tracks and grass. It's off the Gort road (towards Drumcliffe), about 2 miles from town centre.
    Flannans is used by some of the serious runners, but there was a problem with access some time back.
    Fairgreen (as mentioned) has a track & pitches but the track surface is terrible.
    Enjoy the w-end.
