Just looking for something basic like that but checked Woodies in Stillorgan and Homebase in Rathfarnham and nothing.. anyone know anywhere in Dublin I could get one?

Any decent hardware store should stock a similar style handle, it's a fairly standard handle type, usually available in either solid brass, "gold" coloured plate or chrome. If you are in the city centre try Lenihans on Capel Street or the specialist ironmongers on Mary Street, just across the road.
