I enjoyed that more than I probably should have - I always like Ulrika-ka-ka-ka on this show, she's up for it and has a dirty laugh.

It was alright. Maybe it'll get better as the series goes on but it certainly wasn't like the unmissable show that it used to be.

The bit with underpants was hilarious though.

I though it was hilarious, so delighted it's back. Maybe there was some '1st show back' jitters. I'm not interested in what the naysayers have to say as it's a great show, a league ahead most of the crap we have to dodge these days.

The shows have always had a similar format but some of it was just a carbon copy of last week's episode.. Not good

yes, the second show was bloody awful

when shooting stars first appeared back in the 90s Vic & Bob were young & fresh, but now they're beginning to look a wee bit stale & tired

but hopefully it will pick up..fingers crossed

Dreadful.. They should have left it where it was, but 'wacky' and 'surreal' is so overdone now they just seem bad.. the TV equivalent of a drunk uncle at a wedding.

Was an average fan of the original but never liked Vic.
Watched it again, and it is on par with the original.

Yes it has the same jokes - and others are right - thats the point. It is alternative comedy and quite unlike anything else that has been on TV for some time.

I would suggest that you actually watch the originals again now and compare them to the latest series. You will find that the originaly had many of the drawbacks that people are talking about now.
Maybe those people who think it is not as good have either a bit of nostalgia going on or their humour has moved on from the bizarre that is Vic and Bob.

Highlights from the other night -

Greg Wallace at the end, the Duncan Balantine impression, calling Ulrika a hooker, George doing his knock knock joke and of course his song.

Personally, thought it was better than the first week as I think the first week I was all set up for a good laugh whereas yesterday I remembered more of what the original was like.

Add me to that list. Watched the first 15 minutes of the first episode and just didn't find it amusing. And I usually find both high brow and stupid things funny.

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes. I do agree that it' not a patch on the old show. Last Saturday night they had an hour long programme about how it came to be. Funny as fcuk. Johnny Vegas was great on the show.


I still enjoy it and will watch the rest of the series.

Exactly. They done exactly the same thing in the original.
I will say it again, people either are suffering from nostalgia or were not avid fans of the original.

I loved the first 4 series.

It obvious now that the format is very tired and worn. They're going through the motions like a married couple having sex on their 30th anniversary.

I just don't 'get' that guy who's next to Ulrika either.
