    Hi All,

Want to book a cheap Ryanair flight not fussy what destination just want to get away. The main thing i'm looking for is a Airport that is really close to the City center and not a 2 hour bus/Train journey like some Ryanair airportd, Flew into the Gothenburg Airport before with Ryanair and that was great right in the city.

    Thanks

ryanair fly into the main airports in edinburgh, berlin, madrid, budapest, malaga, nice (france), krakow, tenerife and they fly into rome campino which is actually much closer to rome city centre (6-7 miles) than the main rome airport, which would i recommend, tenerife for things to see and do, great island, amazing scenery, for a city break probably berlin, so much recent history in that place or rome (don't expect great nightlife in rome though), they are all great options though and all within a few minutes of the city centre(s)

if you don't like the travelling then stay away from torp (2hr from oslo) and hahn (1hr 45mins from frankfurt)

Beauvais in Paris is a lovely airport:rolleyes:

Flew with them to Porto a couple of years ago without knowing much about the city and it was absolutly fantastic, lovely city. Airport was very close to city also. Think they are closing that route from Dublin though:mad:

Not sure best and Ryanair ever sit comfortably together.

I'd try Aer Lingus webfares for good deals and a lot less hassle as a travelling customer, having used both a lot.

The main madrid and budapest airports are a fair bit out from the city centres, but handy enough to get into them (less than an hour, closer to half an hour in madrid cos of the metro). Edinburgh is handy - 25 min on the bus for £6 return

Valencia airport is very handy, 25 minute metro journey from airport to city centre, unfortunately direct DUB-VLC flights were only on June/July/Aug this year

I'd 2nd rossie, Berlin, Madrid, Faro, Manchester and Liverpool airports are all on a public transport system and it's quick and cheap to get into the city, Gatwick is almost as good. I missed out on the SNN/Rome route so sadly I cannot comment.
