    Anyone any thoughts on this.
My gp is more for implant but I'm more in favour of the injection.

My GP won't give the implant to people anymore.
She says it has an extremely high rate of dissatisfaction.

Have a look at the contraception sticky for expierences of both and other methods.

Nuvaring might be something else to look at. Or Mirena.

Tried a couple of pills in my time & one affected me pretty bad- really down & just not myself AT ALL. Was horrible month. Anyhoo- I recently asked my GP bout this new implant thingy & she said it contains alot of stuff that was present in pill I tried. Not going anywhere near it!!! My doctors costs €150 to get it in & then 180 to get it out!!! Mental money- I dunno how much the thingy itself costs as well!!
