Linux Based DVR

    second thread in this forum today sorry !!

    anybody recommend a linux based box capable of replacing the sky+ plus box, hd isnt important too me, but i want it to be capable of recording one or two channels while watching something else hd a bonus, my gf is italian, and watches the italian channels via a second satalite, i was thinking of setting up some system where i can integrate all my stuff, with one motorised dish maybe..i dont know..but the box, which box?

    Practially all are Linux based, but not open.

    Humax is what I would recommend. Motorised doesn't much suit dual tuner PVR unless you have two motorised dishes :)

    AZbox, Dreambox etc are more Hobby solutions. Threads on them in Foriegn Satellite Forum.
