Rose of Tralee betting tip

Following a tip from someone closely involved in the Rose of Tralee, I have backed the French Rose at 20/1 yesterday. She is now 12/1 on PP online, link:http://www.paddypower.com/bet/novelty-betting/pageant/rose-of-tralee?force_racing_css=N

Its only my sources opinion though so don't come back to me if she doesn't win! I'm sure a lot of ye will "be made watch it" so this might add a bit of interest for ya!!

She was OK, played the harp and sang well, and looked well (not hard though as the standard was pretty low last night).

The thing about the betting is that it is only based on what people see on TV. As far as I understand the judging is carried out over the week so the performance on TV isn't always the deciding factor.

In fairness to the German, the 2/1 favourite now, not sure what she was before, she was very funny and seemed like a lovely girl. I'll try find out how she had done the rest of the week to see if she is worth backing even at 2s

Ya I would say the kerry rose has it. My source told me this morn she had it, totally forgot bout this thread. she was 3/1 this morn i think. She has it all, sob story, teaches kids, from kerry, red hair etc.... to be fair her song was kinda crap but its written in the stars
