not sure if this is the correct place to post.

need to find out the address of where a company is registered to, is there a website i can go on? its not with eircom, directory enquiries, they dont have a website?

basically, someone i know is owed a lot of money, and now the company wont take calls, so he wants to call to them to try and sort something out, rather than calling in debt collectors etc. a lot of people are in financial difficulty, he understands that, so he is going to see if he can get them to pay off on a per month basis or something.

I think the same info is likely to be on cro.ie for less money, think that's where solocheck get all their info from.

Check out www.cro.ie This is the website for the Companies Registrars Office. It costs nothing to do a basic search. There is a nominal fee for any further info required.

I'd go with www.cro.ie as your starting point. Have a look at the company's annual return date and status for starters.

If it's late with it's annual return it might be a good indicator that the company is in trouble - especially if it's also struggling to make payments as you've indicated.

Have a look at some of the documents filed too - they might give a bit more info you might find useful. If you want to send me a few details by pm I can take a quick look on cro.ie for you and see if anything stands out...

you could get some information from CRO.ie, registered address, names of directors ect. for a more detailed report experian sell them. Sounds like your friend will have trouble getting paid.

I know of a guy who was owed 10k from a business. He got a poster done out and stood outside the business with a sign saying ' X owns me 10k and Iam not leaving until I get it' - he stood outside the guys business premises for an hr, and left with the money!
