    Hello,

Just a very quick question regarding the nutritional value of frozen spinach.

Is it as good or even close to fresh Spinach? I have been using the frozen variety a good bit lately, it comes in a bag of very handy frozen blocks. I tend to just toss a block of two into whatever curry or tomato sause I am making.

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

It can often be more nutritious than fresh, for once the marketing ads have some truth in them- you know the ads saying it is frozen straight after picking so it retains nutrients.

Ya I was guessing that alright. I find it mighty to fire into all sorts of 1 pot meals - Stews, Bolognaise, Curry etc.

    Thanks for the replies.
